Spams up again on Facebook, This time back with a Justin Bieber video spam, Which claim to have recorded a hidden camera video of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

This type of celebrity spams spread virally very fast since their fans are shocked on seeing such titles and out of curiosity they end of clicking on the URL and this leads to the same set of actions that make the spam viral.

The URL clickers tag their friends on the video post without their knowing and the tagged people seriously think their friends tagged them and click on the Video spam which repeats the loop into an endless viral nature.

This facebook spam has the following titles:

  • 00ps!!! There was a hidden camera in Selena & bieber’s bedroom
  • Oops!!! There was a hidden camera in Selena & bieber’s bedroom

There are also fake videos with descriptions like:

  • WOW HaHa it’s really so funny ~ Don’t Miss it!
  • HaHa it’s really so funny – Don’t Miss it!

What Happens On Clicking the Fake Video URL?

Clicking the Video leads you to a page which appears to be like Facebook and the Video is embedded in the page, Both the page and video are fake.

To unlock the Video, You need to complete some surveys or purchase some products.. This is how the spammer earns money out of your acts. For every survey you perform, The spammer earns a commission from the survey providers.

Then you are presented with a Facebook Share Button which urges you to share the page on your FB account and this is how this goes viral.

There are also instances when the Facebook account is compromised with such tactics and the compromised accounts are further sold in underground forums to Hackers and other Malicious intended people for money.
